Campus Pride – Organization whose primary objective is to develop necessary resources, programs and services to support LGBTQ and ally students on college campuses across the United States. www.campuspride.org

Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) – Works with print, broadcast, and online news sources to bring people powerful stories from the LGBT community that build support for equality. GLAAD.org

Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN) – Strives to ensure that each member of every school community is valued and respected, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. GLSEN.org

Gay Straight Alliance Network (GSA Network) – A GSA alliance is a student-run club, typically in a high school or middle school, that provides a safe place for students to meet, support each other, talk about issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity and expression, and work to end homophobia and transphobia. Human Rights Campaign (HRC) – A national lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer civil rights organization that envisions a world where LGBTQ people are ensured of their basic equal rights and can be open, honest, and safe at home, at work, and in the community. HRC.org

It Gets Better Project – Their mission is to communicate to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth around the world that it gets better, and to create and inspire the changes needed to make it better for them. ItGetsBetter.org

National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) – A national legal organization committed to advancing the civil and human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their families, through litigation, legislation, policy, and public education. NCLRights.org

PFLAG – Support for families, friends, and allies of people who are LGBTQ. PFLAG.org
